Comment's of Dr. Mauk on Qualitative Health Research
Qualitative research is becoming much of an important factor for the research in the health care industry these days, especially in nursing. Previously, it was not given much of the significance in this industry. Dr. Mauk, in her recent media presentation stated that using qualitative research methods in the health-care research provides a great deal of knowledge about the issues the industry is currently facing, and helps in resolving those issues. There must also be the factor of trustworthiness in the qualitative research process, as it let the researcher assure that the findings are accurate, which will ultimately help in achieving the desired result for the problems aroused.
