Psychology Report: The effect after intense positive experience writing
Abstract
In a variation of analyzing the effect after intense positive experience writing. A sample 115 undergraduate student, who did the study for the research report for the introduction of the psychology course. There were 23 males and 92 females had took the test, female mean age was 30.26 (Standard deviation - 9.58) years, male mean age was 29.74 (Standard deviation - 8.97) years, with the total mean age 30.16 (Standard deviation - 9.43) years. The measures or health center visits for illness were obtained. Writing about IPEs intense positive experiences associated with enhanced positive mood was also significantly fewer health center visits for illness, compared to controls. Introduction
Many previous research studies have revealed that writing about an important or unique positive experience helps to increase positive emotions. Researchers have identified that people suffering from social phobia and anxiety disorder respond well to the positive affect or event (L.R. Eisner et al. / Journal of Anxiety Disorders, 2009). A research study conducted by Greenberg and Stone (1992) revealed that intense positive experience helps in the reduction of health related issues.
According to research conducted by Chad M. Burton and Laura A. King on the topic of the health benefits of writing about intense positive experience, presented that writing about the intense positive experiences is also related with less health center visit compared to the control group in the experiment. The researcher used a sample of 90 undergraduates student either to write about intense positive experience or controlled topic twenty minutes each day for three months, the result shown that writing about intense positive experiences reduce a better mood of well being compare to the control group.

An extensive amount of researches have revealed that traumatic experiences can also help to reduce stress and motivated a person becoming a positive well being. Along, with that they have also revealed that a traumatic or upsetting experiences can also generated a positive emotion or well being.
