Personal essay

My name is Irina and I was born in March 5, 1975 in small town Tver, which is 3 hours Northwest from Moscow, Russia. I used to live, study, and work there for about 30 years. My childhood was spent most of the time with my grandparents in a small village 45 minutes from my town. My childhood activities included fishing, swimming, gardening, horse riding, playing with friends, and all kind of other games in the summer, and ice skating, skiing and hockey in the winter.
