Pax is a Roman goddess, for the Greek goddess of sisterly Eireen (Irene), which is the Latin equivalent. It is as much of a goddess, had the background, see, to oblivion. Indeed, if we seek serenity, we turn to a lot of familiar faces to goddesses (Albrektson, 1967). Among the most popular White Tara, Kwan Yin, Vesta (Roman goddess; religious serenity), Mary (mother of Jesus, Catholicism), Bona Dea, Adsullata (Celtic goddess, goddess elementary and soothing river divine spirit), Arianrhod (Goddess Celtic majority, his life path leads to peace in itself).
Pax is not a well known goddess and worship is more lively, or widespread. Yet it is worth a look, it is worth lingering. She personifies peace for the Romans. It was their "Lady of Peace."
