Parade or Victory Celebration

Introduction:

Victory celebrations:

The term victory has all the positive feelings and constructive emotions attached to it; the term just sounds good and gives an affirmative feel. It is defined as success in a struggle against obscurities or obstacles, which one gains after much effort. Victory might be of several types and forms, including a victory in a battle, or a game or competition (Petrone, Pp: 169).

Almost all forms of victory call for celebration, as players involved in the game want appraisal for their efforts and also because they want to express their joy and excitement after being triumphant. The trend of celebrating victory is an old one, with history of all the great empires and cultures being full of examples of victory celebration. Different empires and cultures have different styles making celebration, some used to have parades while others would just party, doing whatever they like and having a good and memorable time together (Beard, Pp: 98).

The match was the most anticipated one, and all the teenagers along with other youngsters were anxiously waiting for the match and then the outcomes. The environment was emotionally charged during the match, with the stadium being full of youngsters and supporters of the team, as it was held in my city.

The team, fully backed up and enthusiastic, performed well and put an excellent show. All the audience enjoyed, and suspense kept increasing with each passing minute as competition was pretty tough. Finally, our city team won, and we became all set for the celebration parade that too was planned in advance as a treat for the team.
