Introduction

The study is based on the evaluation of current computing research aimed at improving the online security. It has been observed in the recent years that with the growth of the Internet, the development of online game play has been a natural extension. There is a variety of ways to conceive of online gaming and its manifestations, besides it, social networking systems has also been increased. Furthermore, it is also observed that a security breach jeopardised 77 million Sony Play station accounts and facts shows that the sex offenders have been using social networking sites. Therefore, there is a dilemma for organisations between the benefits of providing online systems and drawbacks of increased security and confidentiality risks. For this purpose, it is important and essential to take measures by the social networking websites for improving the online security.

There are no sure-fire hundred percent safe ways to ensure security online.
