Introduction

Organizations looking to prosper on a continuous basis devote undivided attention to the aspect of Strategic changes. Strategic Changes have a long lasting effect on the progress of Organizations. Strategic changes are not developed overnight. They require meticulous planning and religious implementation. Thus proper time has to be devoted to them. Many Organizations could not survive in the marketplace because of their ignorance on Strategic changes.

Any strategic change within the Organization involves not only time but also a huge amount of cost. Since it augments long term growth for the Organizations, Strategic changes need to be incorporate in an Organization's operations. A proper mechanism should be employed in order to reap rewards from the Strategic Changes. We would discuss the role of changing processes of an Organization. More specifically we would be discussing the role of Information Technology in shaping up the modern processes (Anonymous, 2012).

Discussion

Many Organizations are now moving away from the traditional approaches to a more Strategic approach. Strategic approach helps them in focusing on the future as well as the present. Traditional Approaches only used to focus on the present. That's why many Traditional Organizations have not been able to cope with the increasing competitive environment (Johnson et al, 2012).

Strategic changes in Organizations are employed keeping the future prospects in mind. They are directed to achieve future goals. They not only eliminate the discrepancies of the traditional system but also contribute to the long term growth of the Organization. We need to study the significance of Information Technology in shaping up the modern processes employed by many Organizations.

Need for the Strategic Change

Information Technology has overshadowed the traditional systems for quite a long while now. Many Organizations have shaped their processes on the guidelines of Information Technology. With the highly competitive nature of the industry prevalent, Organizations have to continuously look for ways and features how to differentiate itself with its competitors (Method Frameworks, 2012).

The key feature of Successful Organizations is that they make all processes customer friendly. When the customer would be comfortable with the processes, there would be enhanced customer loyalty as well as huge sales for the Organization. All our processes should be focusing on felicitating the customer.

Earlier Organizations used to focus on traditional systems. Traditional systems were good in earlier times but did not focus on the future. Information Technology ensures that our processes are not only up to date but are also matching with the future forecast. Future is always the focal point in making strategic changes in any Organization.

I.T enabled processes take all employees on board.

All departments are coordinating with each other. Information is shared by all departments. There is an urgent need for Organizations to look beyond traditional systems and look to employ I.T enabled processes.
