This term paper is based on the Marketing of Commercial Space Travel and Tourism. Space tourism in world can become a big industry with a turnover of a billion dollars. Space tourism is a term used for travelling to and from space. The marketing strategies of the airlines have changed depending upon the requirements of the customers. Airlines offering space travel and tourism packages is also affected by the environmental regulations imposed by the state, local and federal laws to protect the environment through controlling the aircraft engine emissions, disposal or discharge of chemicals and materials by the airline, noise emissions of aircrafts etc. Main target market for marketing of commercial space travel and tourism can be youngsters who are more oriented towards socializing. Youngsters and teenagers between the ages of 13-30 years can be targeted at greater levels. I perceive that future of space travel and tourism is very attractive as the public is enthusiastic about space travel; current efforts to achieve space tourism are real and begin to grow. This term paper is based on the Marketing of Commercial Space Travel and Tourism. Space tourism is considered by some as the next step carrier of the man to the space. The space tourism is also known as the new era of commercial space travel. Commercial space travel and tourism is a luxury which leads to exclusivity. Space tourism is one step closer to becoming reality (Collins, 2000). Space travel has become quite popular among tourists in recent years. According to the latest news from Boeing , the first steps in the availability of space tourism will be made in 2015, when space taxi will be launched . NASA plans to sell seats and use the funds for the operation of ships. Unfortunately, only the lucky and the wealthy could afford such a trip. This cosmic journey will cost from $35 to $40 million. As technology improved, we hope that the price will be more affordable. Boeing has received significant funding $50 million from the U.S. government to develop a new spacecraft to travel to outer space (Crouch, 2009).

The U.S. Government prepares to lead the space tourism industry, an activity that will derive 1,000 million dollars over 10 years.
