The Manner Europe is the subsidiary of an American Company which is dealing in wood related products. At present the company has ten units in the Europe. Its managing director is facing so many challenges like the planning, managing, communication, recruitment, and training. Manners Europe is working under the umbrella of a United States company. In the Europe, it is operating in only United Kingdom, Netherland and Belgium with total ten stores. However, the parent company is providing services in all over the world. The business of Manners Europe is about the wood and timber related products at wholesale and retail level. The company wants to expand its business and wants to open outlets in all over the Europe. For this, the company has given task to the Managing Director Europe, John Wilman. He has all the powers which are necessary to expand the business. The bad part of the strategy is that he is facing so many problems which are creating serious hurdles in the way of expanding. The immediate problems which must be addressed are the recruitment, motivation, remuneration, compensation, training, local laws and customs. The high authorities must address them as soon as possible in order to run the successful business in the Europe. When any company is going to start the business, first of all it is facing the challenge of recruitment (AZ Central, 2007). The severity of the problem increases when there is the large or Multinational Corporation (MNC). The same was happen with the Manner Europe. In the Netherland, the unemployment rate is below the two percent. This create problem in hiring the competent work force. There are fewer applications against the job advertisement. In the same way, only a few applicants have the required education level. As it the best basics in the HR recruitment that more the large pool of applicants, the best the people are hired.
