Introduction Learning disability brings serious concerns for the healthcare as well as the primary and secondary relationships of the patient. It is highly important to identify the learning disability in a person at an early stage in order to use effective interventions for the treatment. People with learning disability needs special cure, care and support since the proper treatment can overcome their problem and helps them bring back to a healthier life. This paper narrates the story of Paul, who was dyslexic. When the writer first met Paul, he within a second recognized him as a victim of learning disability. Theories of Learning Disabilities Learning disabilities are categorized by the cognitive processing problem. Attention, memory (short or long term), processing speed (visual and auditory), logic and reasoning are the cognitive process and if there is significant dysfunction in any of these cognitive processes then the man has some type of learning disability. There are some specific learning disabilities that need to be mentioned here such as aphasia (language understanding problem), dyslexia (reading problem), dyscalculia (maths solution problem), dysphasia (language reading problem) and dysgraphia (writing problem). The scientific evidence has exposed that the increase in the frequency of learning disability is related to four elements. 1. The definition of learning disability and its use of vague criteria create variability in the identification of procedures. Learning disability identification process differs from school to school, and thereby arises considerable variation. In short the procedure to identify the learning disability is not quite uniform. 2. The traditional way of reading instruction, to measure the learning disability has not been up to the standard of variability of children in their reading process. Teachers are not well acquainted to assess learning need of the student. 3.
