The German-American painter and art teacher, Josef Albers was born 1888 in Bottrop. In 1905 he graduated in Langenhorst Buren and the training of teachers and has been active in Buren. In 1913th, he went to Berlin, where he studied at the Royal School of Art for two years, making the analysis as an art teacher. Then he goes to the academy in Munich, where he took the painting class of Franz von Stuck. In 1920, Albers enrolled at the Bauhaus in Weimar (Albers, 1975).
