Introduction

The aim and objective of this writing assignment is to write 2 journal entries of two pages each on internship at Air Serv Corporation. Air Serv Corporation is company that provides solutions for aviation industry and supports freight and airlines companies at various airports in the different countries of the world. It also offers cargo services which involve maintenance and handling of cargo, handling of the U.S. mail service, janitorial services and transportation services, for instance, crew transport, remote parking lot shuttles, fixed route services and other numerous services. Air Serv Corporation also provides services related to security such as, access control, prevention and loss, screening of cargo and ticket verification. The company was founded in 2002 with its headquartered in Atlanta. From November 1, 2012, the company is operating as a subsidiary of ABM Industries Incorporated.

In the 8 weeks period of internship at Air Serv Corporation, I encountered with numerous interpersonal dynamics at Air Serv Corporation. Interpersonal dynamics is basically the way through which people cope with conflicts and problems in different scenarios. Interpersonal dynamics allows the employees of the organization to promptly address the conflicts which are hindering their performance at work. There are simple 8 steps which are followed to formulate a strategy through which conflicts in the organization can be resolved. The interpersonal dynamics which I encountered during the period of internship was basically related to the problems and customer issues with respect to the proding of services. Dealing and handling customers is a stupendous task and requires much patience and intelligence. Internees at the Air Serv Corporation are required to handle the projects of the customers and clients who have applied for the services and manages their communication and orders which they have placed. The most rewarding interactions in the period of my internship happened with the clients and airline companies which usually provide cargo and other services to our company. They work in a professional environment and dealing and negotiating with them on prices is usually difficult because of the complexities and changes in the services.
