The first step of international management is to understand the cultural differences. The reason behind is that employees of local countries grow up in a particular culture and become familiar to that value system, belief and perception. U.S, Chinese and Argentine cultures are very different from each other. Chinese like to do collective efforts while U.S employees do not like to depend on others. U.S employees are competitive, think about short term goals, rationalistic, democratic while Chinese and Argentine culture is totally different from U.S (Alon, 2003).
