How has Mexico changed in violence during the past 7 years?

Introduction

There has been a shocking point in violence in Mexico in last seven years, most of that is connected with trafficking in illegal and illicit drugs and the efforts of the Mexican government to shut down that business. Violence has been an intrinsic characteristic of the trade in illegal drugs, but the violence in Mexico in recent years has been extraordinary and remarkably atrocious. The strategies counting mass killings, the occurrence of car bombs and the use of torment and dismemberment have directed some analysts to consider whether the violence has been changed into something new, perhaps requiring a different set of policy responses. According to the some reports and government data, 50,000 murders related to organized crime have been estimated from December 2006 to December 2011. In this year some of the analysts have observed that the possibility of homicides related to organized crimes have reached the peak. Some observers have maintained that the rapid increase of organized crimes murders and violence will decrease but at a very slow rate.

A dramatic surge has been experienced and punished by the Mexico in violence, murders and crimes. It is practiced regularly as a violent approach between the dominant unlawful organizations to reduce and stop the drug control and other illegal crimes like human trafficking. Many efforts have been made by the administrations against the violence, but it has resulted in killings, torments, fears and other cruelties by the security forces. By this approach, an atmosphere of disorder and worst terror has raised in many states of U.S. especially in Mexico.

In 1950s, cocaine was once a legal kind of product in the U.S. In 1990s, the profitable wholesaling of drugs was pushed and moved towards the north i.e. Mexico and started a fight amongst the drug lords and the Mexican state (Gootenberg, 2011). Violence is a significant and inherent characteristic of the trade in the illegal and illicit drugs. Like in other criminal attempts, violence is used by the traffickers to solve and calm down the fights and disputes. A horrible threat of violence maintains discipline in employees and impression of order with buyers, suppliers and creditors. This type of violence has occurred and practiced regularly and sporadically in the U.S. cities especially in Mexico since 1980s. This type of violence has now raised up to a different scale and shocking values in the Mexico. In Mexico, the killings, murders and bloodlettings are not only connected with the discipline making or solving disputes and fights. It is also directed towards the media and the government and is not only bounded to traditional and conventional objectives of violence (Robert, 2001).
