INTRODUCTION
Purpose of the Study
In the last three decades, the development of humanities as psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, philosophy of language, cognitive psychology, text linguistics, have studied the problem of the teaching of human communication through speech path. Science has come to occupy a prominent place to offer a new perspective of the theoretical and methodological problems of traditional linguistics an innovative coherent text, an active agent and a language that is not only significant but also meaning. This means that the issuer or speaker and uses different strategies to achieve communicative intentional communication. Group work has been incorporated into language teaching and learning in most parts of the world since the emergence of the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) in the early 1970s, and has taken firm root in many present-day ESL or EFL classrooms. This approach came into being because of the ever-growing need for the use of language for communicative purposes, and because of the fact that a lot of educators and linguists became more and more dissatisfied with the Audio-Lingual and Grammar-Translation methods of language teaching. In contemporary times, CLT introduces many activities that support group work. The study examines the perspectives of the Students and Teachers towards Speaking and Writing activities in EAP classes.
Rationale of the Study
Group work can proved to be very effective in developing the Speaking and Writing skills in EAP classrooms. The topic explores the role of Communicative Language Teaching in developing the Speaking and Writing skills in EAP classrooms. This study is aimed at investigating the outcome of the implementation of pair work and group work in enhancing the speaking and writing skills of students enrolled in EAP courses and pointing out the merits and the problems as well as suggesting some possible solutions.
Aims and Objectives
The aim of the research is to study the impact of group work on the advancement of students' speaking and writing skills in the EAP classrooms.

Consideration of Rigour
A strict conformity with the delineated research strategy and other parts will be carried out as stated in the given proposal. The researcher will stand by all the parameters as laid down in this manuscript during the course of investigation.
