The rich heritage of the country, that is rooted in the history, creativities and varieties of cultural opportunities attract visitors to visit these communities. Research confirms that tourism is one of the fastest growing industries and the cultural aspect of the tourism industry is the fastest growing segment in this industry. The following paper discusses and analyses the roles and responsibilities of the tourism organizations with regard to culture and heritage of the country.

Product development involves the preservation and promotion of the nation's cultural resources and its heritage. Help can be taken from the heritage specialists to learn about the development of new tourism itineraries and create thematic packages that attract visitors. However, the organizations have to ensure that the cultural resources that have been identified are preserved and enhanced. These resources are often located in the public vicinities and require investments. For this, the organizations must adopt planned business practices, increase advocacy and diversify product mix (Mirbabayev, n.d). Over the years, the success of the tourism organizations has promoted many nations to comprehensively look at the cultural industry as a way to the community and economic development.
