Introduction

There are number of risk factors that are associated with the stroke and coronary heart disease. Some factors of risk such as family history, age, and ethnicity that cannot be changed. However, from last couple of decades, besides from the region of Sub-Sahara cardiovascular disease considered as a leading cause of death (Lakka, et.al, 2002).

This paper will discuss cardiovascular disease effect on family. However, my Grandmother has this disease which becomes my family disease. In later part of this paper I will provide best solutions to prevent from this disease.

Discussion

Study suggests that risk of Cardiovascular is strongly linked to the person family (Kannel & McGee, 1979). He further indicates that, if you have a cardiovascular disease in your family, then you are more likely to have one.” Basically history of family is providing a clear picture of the genetics and environment in place where the diseases begins. The best solution for a person if he or she has a history they must change the environment. Change of environment will decrease the chance of heart attack. Since I have a family issue of cardiovascular disease so I will encourage my grandmother for physical activity, better habits of eating and eliminating smoking.

Lakka, et.al, (2002) suggests that if history of family has health bill clean, then I should be well aware from the genetic factors that can lead the risk of my family. Statistics claimed that only in United States, African Americans have a problem of higher blood pressure, heart attack and diabetes. Another study suggest that 25 percent Latinos will be suffer from the higher blood pressure and around50 percent people battle with high cholesterol.
