Introduction

When a newly born cries and announces that he has stepped inside this new horizon, the world. At that time he does not belongs to any of the religion. He does not know that from where he came and where he is right now. Then gradually when he become grown up, the practices followed in his surroundings, by his parents and other family members made him surprised that what is going on and by the time he become aware about the religious beliefs which his family members are preaching.

This is no doubt a very interesting and a mysterious topic to talk about. It is a human nature to discover the hidden things. The thing which is hidden attracts more. There are various religions in the world followed by different group of people living together or living in another region of the world. We can say that the religion is also a source of identity for human beings. It is understood all are same on the basis of humanity. But various religious beliefs are different from each other. So there are various religions in the world like Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, Sikh, Catholics, Hinduism, Jewish and so on. Here we will emphasize on the division of people on the basis of religion. Health care is a scenario that is critical for every person preaching any religion. That is why the healing methods are also influenced by the religion. When we talk about the healing methods, every religion has different aspects, different limitations. We will compare the faith diversity followed by different health care providers of different religions and the impact on patients who have different faith.

Discussion

Different religious groups follow different believe scenarios for the provision of health care. The health care professionals should be well aware about religious considerations of their patients. The religious perspectives and scientific approach should be considered in a balanced manner. Here we are going to compare Buddhism, Hinduism, and Islam with the Christianity. As we know that all human beings are composed of similar organs, similar tissues and similar components of body that are performing similar functions so, it is essential to note that healing occurs when there is balance between, mind, body, physical connections, spirit and emotions (Plante & Sherman, 2001). So these things are considered as very important features in every religion as regard with the health.

Faith Diversity between Buddhism and Christianity

Buddhism and Christianity are similar in a way that both religion focus and consider the religious practices as essential part for one to acquire healing. The people following both the religions believe the power of meditation and prayers a lot in one's healing. It is strongly believed that meditation and prayer can change one's problems that are faced by him or her (Berry, 1891).
