Introduction

Key questions in the case

The key questions highlighted in the case are:

Should Rose put its efforts behind its own brand instead? This question highlights the fact that Rose who was the biggest well-known manufacturer and supplier got an offer from its largest retail customer, who decided to create a private label line of party goods, and they wanted Rose to manufacture it, whereas secondly they had decided to launch and enter into the branded line of party wear.

'Who'll notice the difference?'This key question highlights the important fact that the argument that was based on the two basic points, Cassie on one side presented the idea that people will be willing to pay more than the original price if they enter into the branded line, whereas Jerry argued that they won't compromise on quality so when they customers will be buying in huge quantities it won't be easy for them to manage high prices because it is easy to do then to say.

Won't Party! Be cannibalizing a lot of them?" This key question underlies the important fact that Tom was not ready and convinced to accept the fact and offer given to him by Hank related to the new private label launches Party because he was afraid of that it will cannibalize and destroy all sales of their new products and the other products they had in line if they take the offer made by Party.

And you really think they'll get behind our branded line if we also manufacture products for Party!? This question highlights the fact that the company people were not sure of the point that if they take up the offer given by Party and manufacture products for them they won't interrupt and destroy the company's branded line.
