Good versus evil in Macbeth

IntroductionGood versus evil in Macbeth shows the inner character of a person that how a strong character of a person can save himself from the dirty deeds. In the same time, the Macbeth drama shows that how can a righteous person become an evil. Macbeth was a soldier who used to kill people, and that was an honor for him. Later on, Macbeth character changed. A downfall came that changed the entire life and character of Macbeth. Macbeth completely transformed into a cruel man, a dignified warrior transforms into an evil. The acts, words, and gestures of a human being depict the inner nature of a person that whether the person has an evil nature or a good nature. A righteous person is a person, who helps others, kills people for the sake of his nation, a dignified warrior, a brave man, and an enterprising person. These all qualities were present in the hero, Macbeth. Later on, when Macbeth met the three witches, he turns into a sinful man. An evil person is a person, who runs only after his ambition, who can kill people for no reason, who can murder people for snatching their properties and a person who has self-doubt. Macbeth adapted these characteristics after interacting with the witches. There is always a win-lose situation between good and evil. A good person will win; an evil person will lose and if an evil person wins, the good person will loss. Macbeth also faced the situation of win-lose. In Macbeth, during the battle between good and evil, “evil” wins over “good, when Macbeth murdered the king of Scotland to attain his immoral goals (Moschovakis, pp. 13). Finally, after the slaughter of Macbeth, “good” won over “evil”, when. It is a common phenomena; goodness always wins over evilness. In other words, goodness achieves victory over the evilness and then, evilness gets defeated.
