Food security has been defined by the Food and Agriculture Organization as being funded on fur pillars including food access, food availability, food utilization and food stability. In addition to this, each of the above mentioned aspects depend on the development of the country.

There are various factors including the size of the population, political state, technological advancement and technological advancement that determine the level of food insecurity in a country. There are external factors such as war that disrupt the food security of the developing nations. A factor for the development of the food security of a developing country could be the aid given to the countries. The climatic condition in a country is also a significant issue that affects the food security. Climatic conditions involving natural disasters and drought which are worsening with the changing climate with the passage of time. These drastic conditions due to climate have a negative impact on the amount of crops in the developing countries.
