Elements that share a portion of a food product, added either deliberately or inadvertently during the manufacture of food supplies are known as Food additives. They can be allocated into four categories: food dyes and colorings, emulsifiers and stabilizers, taste enhancers and antioxidants. Salt, sugar, sweeteners, baking soda, corn syrup, and pepper are some of the common food additives. Other, more superior food additives include: acids (to give a sour taste), antifoaming agents, firming agents, flavor modifiers, and bulking agents etc. (Luck, 2002).
