Katherine Anne Porter was born on 15th May 1890. She was awarded with a Pulitzer Prize Winning American Journalist, political activist, essayist, Novelist and short story writer. In 1962, her novel “Ship of Fools” was one of the bestselling novels in United States; however, her short stories got a lot more critical acclaim. She is very well known for her in-depth analysis of the surroundings and penetrating insight. Most of the work done by her revolves around the dark themes, for instance betrayal, origin of human evil and death. In the year of 1990, Recorded Texas Historic Landmark number 2905 was sighted in Brown County Texas in order to honor the career and life of Katherine Anne Porter.
