The National Hockey League is a professional sports organization that brings together the hockey team of United States and Canada. NHL became the first professional hockey league in the world. NHL is one of the major sports leagues in North America, along with the NFL, NBA and Major League Baseball. League was formed in 1917, and combines all four teams. Hockey is the physical game between all the sports. In this game players used to hit to other players during the game. (Allen & Kevin 1999), they always protect their team players whenever something going to happen urgently. In this sport players need to protect each other. Fighting also makes the game more interesting and fascinating.

The NHL was established on November 26, 1917 in Montreal Canada in the duration of World War I. The national hockey league currently represents so much highly skilled players from 20 different countries of all over the world. Even though Canadians have previously form the majority of the players in the NHL, the percentage of American and European trained players in National Hockey League have increased over the past more than four decades because of the NHL's development from six to thirty clubs since 1967.
