Introduction

The most famous phenomenons in the evolution of mankind, at the start of the 21st century is Sports. This is because of its specific characteristics and its functions and position relating to different areas of social life. Sports play a vital role in the development of an individual and it enhances the education and art as well as psychological and physical development of an individual. Most people from their intuition and experience figure out what “Sports” means.

Sports consist of the combination of configurations when it involves tournaments, competitions or matches in individual or dual sports. Sports management is an area of professional endeavor which includes various sports related managerial careers. It is also an area of academic professional preparation. It is also one of the major fields of education that concerns itself with the study of business in the aspect of sports. It involves the combinations of skills that are related to organizing, planning, controlling, directing, evaluating, and budgeting within the context of a department or an organization whose main product and services are related to sports or any physical activity. Sports managers therefore carry out these skills in different organizational or institutional setting for example college sports, amateur sports i.e. Olympics, and professional sports.

Various factors have enabled a continuous growth in the sport industry for example an increase in sports adventure and tourism travel, increase in the globalization of sports, diverse market segmentation for sports goods and services, development in a variety of modern sport facilities. These developments have ensured that the industry will continue ranking among the most diverse and the largest industries in the world thus sustaining career opportunities for the future. It will describe and do a comparison of the various factors that affect the management of the Olympic, college, and professional sports management in different institutions and organizations. Finally, it will give a prediction of those factors that will influence each level of sports in the next ten years.

Evaluation of three factors that impact the management of a collegiate, professional, and Olympic organization/institution:

Amateur Olympic sports are sports held regularly and comprises of different games such as basketball, football, and baseball and competitors expected to be amateur. Various factors influence the different levels of sports; they include political, economic, legal, ethics, and social-cultural factors. However, the three main factors that will be discussed are political, economic, and legal factors. The factors regarding sports management, a perspective was given that sports should involve some kind of competition, be play like in nature, based on physical prowess, involving elements of skill, chance and strategy.

Political factors are some of the major factors that influence the management of various institutions of various levels of sports. Several governments have given value to sports in their respective countries. They have developed sport policies intended to offer a holistic, formal and a systematic framework for the development of sports in different countries.
