Introduction

The event portfolio helps in organizing the festival, events such as wedding plan, dinner party or volunteering events. This study will define the event scoping, event typology and event conceptualization.

Part A- Event Scope

The geographic limits that were set for the event scoping were all across North Western Washington DC. This is because it was much easier for our team to communicate and travel through these areas as majority of us are familiar with this area. I have covered a large geographical region so it is easier to focus on what types of events are popular such as cultural, theatre, conventions, sports, religious or educational. And what events are frequently happening.

The sources one utilized for getting informed about the event were digital media that (includes T.V, radio and the internet), print media (that includes magazine, journals and newsletters). Also we heard about some of the events through word of mouth. The social media plays a vital role in promoting and informing the masses of the event. These sources made us realize what were the most successful in transferring information.

The table shows below shows the events taking place from May 2013 to April 2014 in Washing DC, North Western side.
