Abstract

Political communication is a highly complex process, through which the government authorities seek to transfer their opinion and knowledge to the mass public. The political communication tools in the major developed countries such as the US have a global influence. It is due to this reason that the phenomenon of political communication is identified as a vital component of the Ame4rican government agenda. In the traditional perspective the communication process from the political authorities was done on an indirect basis, and the message was commonly transmitted in a one directional process. In the contemporary global environment the advances in the technology have enabled the process of information sharing a very rapid entity, making the c0onceot of political communication a highly complex entity. The relevant political authorities have to conduct a critical analyzes of the global environment and then design the communication content, so that the adequate message can be transferred to the national and international stakeholders.

Introduction

In the contemporary global human society, the concept of ethics has been ideally defined as one of the most significant factors. In the current era the global community has become highly interlinked in nature, where diverse stakeholders have unified to form the holistic human society. In this perspective the phenomenon of ethical correctness has become very complex in nature, where the activities of any socio economic entity belonging to any given country can have massive global level implications. The process of globalization has caused the world to become unified and progress in a collaborative manner (Blumler& Kavanagh, 1999). In this perspective the socio political forces have to ensure that they do not harm or by pass the rights of the various communities in the global society, and the ethical code of conduct us duly maintained. The issue regarding the correct ethical guidelines in the global community basis is dependent on the varied conception of the ethical principles. It is important to realize that ethics is not a universal term; rather it is completely a relative term, which is different for the various human societies that exist on the planet. Hence developing an ethically correct socio political communication medium can be identified as a highly difficult task, as the activities which are considered as ethical in one society may offend another society.

Discussion

The process of globalization has helped the various political entities all over the world to formulate a relatively universal ethical code of conduct which is based on generic and basic human rights principles.
