Dear Joe,

Yesterday I read your letter and I am extremely concerned with this situation. I thought about for this issue for a whole day and decided to take serious action against the teacher if there is any kind of truth in this allegation. However, I do not have any solid evidence related to this issue at this point of time therefore; I want you to be patient and do not disclose this matter with anyone within or outside the premises of the school.

I want to inform that before taking any action or inquiry, I want assistance from you and some of the other girls you know so that it will become easy for me to take any step. Moreover, I will be calling you soon in my office in order to take complete details of this matter. Kindly make some more personal investigation in this regard and keep me inform regarding anything that you consider important for this issue. In the end, I want to appreciate your effort and sincerity for the students of this school and hope that you will continue to be a part of our school for a long period.

Rationale of the letter

Since this is the start of this issue and there is no evidence that whether Mr. Smithson has committed anything unethical with the girls therefore, I cannot make any decision and will still consider Mr. Smithson as a respectable teacher of the school because law says that a person is not convicted until the decision of the court. Therefore, I do not have any other option than making complete investigation of this issue and make sure that Mr. Smith gets a complete chance to make him clear from this allegation.Part 2: Plan of Action

a. Action to be taken

The most immediate action that I will take is to call the two or three girls that were talking about Mr. Smith, in my room and will try to find out that whether there is any truth in their statement or they were just having joke with each other.

b. Principles and issues related to school safety and security

The most important tools for the schools to making sure regarding the safety is the disciplinary code of the students which is related to forth expectations students behavior and compel penalties when these expectations are not met. Another principal or issue is satisfying substantive due process in which action must be related to the interest of the school in protecting and maintaining order in the school.

c. Applying board policies and State Laws
