Cultural Syncretism

Cultural syncretism happens when distinctive factors of cultural rationalities or religions meet up in agreement or are harmonized. Because of the disclosure of the New World and the slave exchange that occur here in the Americas, certain religions and faiths came up with the individuals when they came here. Religions, for example Candomble, Voodoo and Santeria came into being with the manipulation of Roman Catholicism (Stewart, 1999). So also in Africa, manipulation of Christianity and Islam is used to make what we can call Chris-lam-herb.
