Critique of Aristotle's Views on Slavery

Introduction

Aristotle has a different view of slavery. He thinks that the relationship of a master and slave is that of a body and a soul. The master commands the slave to get his work done and the slave is entitled to fulfill his commands. He thinks that slavery is the means by which the master secures his own livelihood. He is the one who defends slavery by saying that this process is natural and will keep occurring. This paper will critique his view of slavery that he has presented in his book, Politics.
