Introduction
The core idea behind this paper is to create literature for depth analysis of the current crisis plan of a New York's social service agency named as AHRC. This will provide the critical analysis of the overall organization services. The content will introduce the services of AHRC and the overall population they serve at a time. This paper will identify several possible crises that AHRC could face in future and at the same time it will describe the design of crisis plan of AHRC. Identification of level of strength of the crisis plan of AHRC as well as its weakness will be discussed in the paper. The paper will also discuss the involvement cultural standards in the crisis plan of AHRC.
AHRC New York
AHRC holds a long and positive history in the field of social and welfare services of individuals in New York. AHRC came into being when a group of parents united as one to invent services for several children's of New York having long life disabilities. At that time those students were considered as uneducable. Initially, there was a very slow response but with the short span of time the AHRC appeared as an effective organization that can help the individuals having lifelong disables.
AHRC can be introduced as an organization governed by family. AHRC is an enthusiastic in the primary aim of their social service i.e. improving the lives of each and every individual in the New York with the lifelong disabilities. Currently, AHRC is serving more the 15000 having intellectual and development disabilities. They offer unsurpassed services in the field of Social science (AHRC Chronicle, 2012).
AHRC is one of the social service agencies that were first in the development of workshops, schools and several programs for treatments in order to facilitate the necessities of New Yorkers having various intellectual disabilities. They were the one who offered various programs and services to meet exact needs of disabled.
At present, AHRC holds a membership of thousands of citizens of New York having intellectual disabilities. AHRC is one of the first and best organizations that provide their services for the betterment of New York. It is one of the largest consumer based non-profit organization among various social services agencies in New York. This organization holds the staff of various professional along with the condition that two third of overall staff should have to be the relatives with the lifelong disabilities.
The core value on which AHRC is based is the enthusiasm of each member of their faculty to create a better life for disabled of New York. It is essential for an individual in the staff of AHRC to remain constantly committed to the core service i.e. the mission of AHRC.
