Introduction

The criminal behavior in an individual mainly occurs due to a situation that leads to such activities. The delinquent behaviors and activities in students or youth have been a serious concern for researchers. Such activities have a higher occurrence ratio in students who belong to high schools. The study discusses the relationship between the subsequent criminal behaviors and their affects on high school drop outs (Thornberry et. al, 1985). The aim of the paper is to analyze a relationship between the effects of high school drop outs on criminal behaviors. There is more risk of adoption of delinquent behaviors in case of drop out activities.

Design of Study

The study examines the relationship between the high school dropout statuses of students with the subsequent delinquent behaviors. The study is purely designed to examine this theme.

Research Target Population

The target population of the research is the high school students who are more likely to adopt delinquent activities after drop outs. The research was conducted in Philadelphia.

Research Methodology

A research can be conducted by two research methodologies that are qualitative and quantitative. This research has been mainly conducted on the basis of observations that are a qualitative method for conducting researches. These observations have been conducted mainly from students who have been dropped out from their schools, and ultimately the findings will be conducted on the basis of these observations.

Research Instruments

The research instrument is a tool to measure the statistics or aspects of a research. The research instrument used in this research is the observation method. The observations cover the habits and activities such individuals adopt while their growing stage. Apart, the observations the interviews were conducted from various participants in order to get further details on the research.
