Thesis Statement

They may talk of a comet, or a burning mountain, or some such bagatelle; but to me a modest woman, dressed out in all her finery, is the most tremendous object of the whole creation. Oliver Goldsmith.

The woman is always characterized as the strongest person in having the stable emotions and characteristics then man. It can be related that women goes through most trauma and troubles that are created by man. This is the basic reason that the level of tolerance is more in women than man. For example, a man will not forgive his wife if she is had an affair with other man but a wife will forgive his husband for the sake of her children and herself (as the society will not accept her openly as a single mother), if he is having an affair with other women. If a woman has to choose between catching a fly ball and saving an infant's life, she will choose to save the infant's life without even considering if there are men on base (Radcliffe-Brown 1952, 3).

Hera

“I sing of golden-throned Hera whom Rhea bore. Queen of the immortals is she, surpassing all in beauty: she is the sister and the wife of loud-thundering Zeus, the glorious one whom all the blessed throughout high Olympus reverence and honor even as Zeus who delights in thunder.” (Homeric Hymn to Hera).
