In 1969, a series of strange murders were committed by the followers of Charles Manson a, a person full of contradictions and contemptuous of human life but clever to transform his family into killers dedicated.
The Origins
Natural child, Charles Manson was born on 11 or 12 November 1934, his mother - sixteen years old at his birth, could not remember the date. The child never knew his natural father and it was a certain William Manson, who lived for some time with his mother, that Charles had his name. While the child was six years old, his mother attacked a gas station and was sentenced to five years in prison.
Background
Charles was given to his grandparents and an aunt. Recovered by his mother, he lived a life of wandering through many states. Her mother promised to return for him one day but she did nothing. On several occasions, Charles escaped, stealing cars or food, before being recaptured. In 1954, his uncle and aunt being vouched, Charles Manson was paroled. He kept about a year in the right way, then stole a car again. Sentenced to five years in prison, he was released prematurely in 1958. Having decided to become a pimp, he tried in vain to cross the border to girls and was arrested again despite an attempt to escape to Mexico. Sentenced to ten years in prison, he was released in 1967 (Mark et al, 2000).
