Introduction

This book “How Designers Think” by Bryan Lawson covers the fundamentals of difficult and complex topic of design. It is a standard reading for all those individuals who are interested in the field of design. This book attempts to illustrate design by identifying the main factors that are involved: the design process, the designer, the client, and the generated product. The book has attracted large number of readers because of the fact that this book is already in its fourth edition by Bryan Lawson, who is experienced in the field of design. The book is intended for designers, instructors, students and interactive system's researchers coming from different backgrounds like education, graphic design, product design, media and communication, technical writing, industrial engineering, psychology and science. The reason for selecting this book as a reference for individual's experience is that this book is an orgasm of design process and thinking, provides optimal design solutions for new designers and practicing designers. In addition to this, the book is useful for practicing designers as it proves that the design solutions contribute to knowledge. Moreover, this report presents personal activities of an individual that he/she can practice in his/her professional, by making use of knowledge that he/she gets from this piece of work.
