Bolton Guitar Studies

In this paper, I have analyzed the two videos and compared them in terms of sound and composition. These two videos are Grande Ouverture by Mauro Giuliani and sonata op. 47 by Alberto Ginastera.

The first part of the Sonata aims to get the attention of the listeners. The following interpretation elaborates on the initial message. Ginastera makes use of the string chord for opting significant pitch centers for the Sonata. Moreover, the second chord is modified into a quartal chord but it is replaced in the second phrase.
