Introduction

Jacob Jordaens who was one of the eleven children of his family was born on 19 may, 1953. He belongs to a merchant family, about his qualification no one is sure about, as his era was of very early period, he had no proper history regarding his education status but some people suppose that he was somehow educated as this fact can be supported by its handwriting which is legible, his knowledge level of mythology and lastly its grip on French language.

He was a Flemish artist, he normally painted many pictures but he painted more on genre scenes, on religious things and on historical subjects. Although he never went to Italy but most of his paintings shows the reflection of Italian art. He was very much inspired from peter Rubens, who sometime employed him where he is allowed to reproduce small sketches to large paintings.

Jacob Jordaens, 1593-1678.

All are in Flemish painters Rubens' shadow: they undergo its influence, their success is his fame disadvantaged. Jordaens has a preference for more popular exuberance, Epiphany, the lush fertility of the earth, Museum, Brussels. The figures are drawn and the coarser equally brilliant color effects achieved by color tones with slightly heavier than Rubens. Originate in more bourgeois art is also reflected in the United Provinces. For the Orange Hall in the governor's palace Ten Bosch, he painted a large Triumph of Frederick Henry, a monumental piece that surely the momentum of Rubens supernatural fog.

Techniques for making 2D Pictures

The coordinate system in 2D (2 dimensions) consists of two values ??representing a position in the plane, typically called X and Y. Normally we all learn at school / institute the system of Cartesian coordinates, which correspond to the image:

Cartesian coordinates

As you can see the x-axis runs along the horizontal and increases as one moves away from center to right and decreases as we move from center to left. For the vertical axis and similarly, increases and decreases to higher positions to lower positions (Liedtke, 2007).

With this in mind, the 2D coordinate system used by XNA is similar, with the peculiarity that the origin or point (0.0) is in the upper left corner of the screen, from here, the axis values X increases as we move horizontally across the screen and Y values ??but this time also increases as we descend through the screen, graphically looks like this:

2D coordinate system in XNA

Here the unit instead of inches or meters or other 2D graphics typical unit will be the pixel, so, depending on the resolution in the trend we are working more possible area for drawing, for example, if our resolution is 800 × 600 and paint something on the position (900.300) will not see anything on screen, as in the X axis we have left the area visible.

Another fact that could be interesting is that anyone using 2D sprites to paint textures, its position indicates the upper left corner, so if the texture is 400 pixels wide and began painting at the position X = 600, the image will not be complete and if ...
