In addition to identifying the characteristics and/or the issues of the faculty for which the professional development plan will be designed, it is equally important to identify the characteristic and/or needs of the students to which that faculty audience will interact. The students will be accustomed with different assessments and standardized tests in the district.
The students in the district will most probably have faced some degree of cultural and gender biases in the aptitude and standardized tests.
The students will be having a need to learn and discern about the ways in which such interventions could be avoided or dealt with.
