Introduction
This paper intends to explore a leader from two different perspectives. It includes analysis of a domestic leader and an international leader. A table mentioned in the appendix section illustrates different variables of a leader and leadership. It further demonstrates practical implication of “relationship theories” and how transformational leader perform this leadership style and philosophy. The leader holds a charge of a cross-functional team to develop services for key clients.
Define Leader
A leader is a person who directs or leads a country, an organization or a group (www.oxforddictionaries.com). A leader persuades a cluster of individuals to the goal of victory and accomplishment. A mnemonic for this statement would be “3P's”, which includes purpose, people, and person. The 3P's are illustrated in figure 1
The significance of a leader's existence can be comprehended through this quote “the leader has to be practical and a realist, yet must talk the language of the visionary and the idealist” - Eric Hoffer (www.vtaide.com).
A Domestic Leader
A domestic leader is a person who usually leads and directs at a domestic level. For example, leader in a church, school, or community, directing about social concerns and responsibility are regarded as domestic leaders. A domestic leader can be developed through different opportunity programs for students and professionals at domestic or national level. They develop themselves through planning, participating, implementing, and assessing in social and civic programming, which emphasizes on a number of social issues, such as, homelessness and hunger.
For instance, according to (www.gospelink.org), “Lewis” and his wife “Leah” have been engaged in church mission and planting program for more than 30 years. They have assisted in church plan programs, in New York, Lowa, and Maryland, at a domestic level. Along with Lewis's engagement plan operations, he also speaks in churches, in the USA, fostering people in superior goal engagement, specifically as it associates with helping domestic priests.
International leader
International organizations experience amplified competition and challenges so triumph requires the excellent conduct and performance that corporate level leaders can perform. When these leaders work and put in their efforts crosswise numerous boarders, they can turn out to be international leaders (Ng, et.al, 2009).
For instance, an American based global organization hired a French executive from a Brazilian corporation to head their China business. This leader had experienced to learn French habit of friendly relations so that in China he or she was capable to make communications and associations in the company and with external stakeholders, like suppliers, customers, governments, and this extend the business operations.
