Abstract

Since more thirty years, clinicians and scientists have witnessed and examined the influences of divorce on the psychological welfare of children (Amato, 2010). Currently, the authors and investigators have started to discover innovative prospective results of divorce. In this context, this research paper intends to explore how children are affected by divorce parents and are forced to be raised by their grandparents. It explains whether children connect more with their grandparent or do they hold grudge towards their parents. It also shed lights on whether divorce take a toll on parents when growing children and if so, how and what its signs emerge. Moreover, this research paper discusses the way children at times revenge towards their biological parents. Lastly, it describes the affect of divorce on children's significant other or the parenting skills.
