Sydney eve is a scholar in Queensland University. She asserts that fairytale films have a power to appeal large audience due to the ground and basis of their subjects that are based upon normal, as well as, supernatural characters. It beautifies the fictional genre and presents the most beautiful form of illusion as fairytale characters. She questions gender inequalities that are based upon narrative filmmaking and composition. Her lecture is discussed as under;

Narrative filmmaking and folklore encompasses of the idea that the female figure in leading cast should comply with the concept of flawless women. She proves it with the example of Cinderella that is based on concept of approaching the prince emerges from perfection of the female cast. However, the masculine cast has to be accepted with unusual and flawed persona pattern. She discussed the paradigm of gender inequality in fairytale filmmaking, as well as, the folklore in art. She highlights the effects of such a phenomenon and provides evidences, that are discussed as under;
