Sydney eve is a scholar in Queensland University. She asserts that fairytale films have a power to appeal large audience due to the ground and basis of their subjects that are based upon normal, as well as, supernatural characters. It beautifies the fictional genre and presents the most beautiful form of illusion as fairytale characters. She questions gender inequalities that are based upon narrative filmmaking and composition. Her lecture is discussed as under;

Narrative filmmaking and folklore encompasses of the idea that the female figure in leading cast should comply with the concept of flawless women. She proves it with the example of Cinderella that is based on concept of approaching the prince emerges from perfection of the female cast. However, the masculine cast has to be accepted with unusual and flawed persona pattern. She discussed the paradigm of gender inequality in fairytale filmmaking, as well as, the folklore in art. She highlights the effects of such a phenomenon and provides evidences, that are discussed as under;

The approach of feminism: she explains that ever since the inception of the feminist movement, that is, based upon gender inequalities in arts, filmmaking and folklore pertaining to the narrative cinema could not completely rectify the inequality prevalent in the narrative cinema and filmmaking.

Inclination towards authority: the conceptualization of filmmaking is based upon the authority significance that is more towards the masculine figure, as well as, they encourage the power of heroism to be associated with the masculine gender.

Fairytales are subjected to culture: the making and plot of fairytales are based upon the popular culture syndrome that advocated the supremacy of masculine gender, in terms of, hybridization of heroism in the movie. Moreover, it advocates the foundation of film culture based upon male supremacy.

Moreover, Sydney eve's lecture was based upon highlighting the folklore and fairytale mixing up of gender that leads to supremacy of male and submissive depiction of the females.

As per Bacchilage's ideology of fairytale, the orthodox discrimination culture is based upon the early twenty-first century tendency against the feminist perspective. It has groundwork of early feminist movement circumstances that pushed and downgraded females in all functioning genres including art and filmmaking.
