The paper aims to identify the areas of improvement in supply chain process. The paper will identify the potential development of new project that can increase the value in the organizational supply chain. The present model of supply chain does not involve value in it and it need to be changed and bring transformation for the better value. There are several areas of improvement in the value chain that will be identified and will be discussed. The analysis would be of Bransford Webbs, Whites logistics and Dobbies. A value chain refers to a model that describes the structure of an organization as a limited set of processes.
Summary of the Primary Value Chain Processes
There are few primary processes in the business that could have increased value and could be improved. These processes include:
The primary processes are those that directly contribute to the creation of output (products and services) of an organization are:
Logistics Input: includes all activities of managing the flow of goods within the organization.
Operating activities: activities which produce goods and / or services.
Outbound Logistics: includes the activities of managing the flow of material goods outside the organization.
Marketing and sales: promotion of the product or service in the markets and managing the sales process.
Customer support and services: all those activities that are of post-sale customer support (e.g. Technical assistance).
These three organizations are inter-related and to become efficient and effective in their supply chain process they need to have a better value chain process that provide them effective and efficient way of transferring goods and save cost and time. The value chain that will be proposed for the inter-connected organization will aim to reduce time and cost of these organization. There is redundancy in the organization and that is needed to be solved.

The Nature of the Problem
Bransforwebb, heebe plants, and white logistics are inter-related organizations and they involve in supply chain for their daily business. It has been identified that the organizations does not focus on adding value and supply chain tactics in their business that results in increased time redundancy, and increased cost. It has been analyzed that if organizations include value in their supply chain the problem of time and cost will be saved and the business supply chain will become effective and efficient.
The problem with this organization is that they are not integrated to each other, Bransforwebb, Heebe Plants, and white logistics have their own individual system that work for their own organization. They have not a value chain that can provide those details and availability of each organization. The problems have created several times and supply chain process has been failed.
