Using Interactive Read Aloud, Shared Reading, and informal assessments in Early Childhood

Abstract

A recent study showed that reading aloud to children during early childhood would develop their intellectual abilities. Teacher can draw the attention of children to the vocabulary and the particular structure of certain sentences. Shared reading in early childhood enables the children in improving their vocabulary; it also improves memory skills and language. Informal assessment during early childhood enables the parents and teacher to explore the changes in the children behavior using an array of means.
