Introduction

The U.S foreign policy has been controversial throughout history. Currently, the foreign policy if USA is going through a turbulent period as it is becoming more harmful to the relationship between U.S.A and the rest of the world because the focus of the U.S foreign policy towards world peace, human rights and world democracy has been lost. Whereas, the only significant corner of the policy seems to be the protection of national security. It is important to review the traditional perspective related to the international relations, foreign policy, and the world politics (Richard, 2010).

Under these conditions, the negotiation of free trade agreements (FTA) is become, to a large extent, the focus of U.S. trade policy to reach the standards still further, that the United States is committed to seeing translated internationally. The key strategy is to establish in several previous cases considered crucial, as the cultural and broadcasting, from which to obtain more concessions as part of broader trade negotiations, in pending or future. These free trade agreements part, far from it, and a coordinated strategy that involves multidimensional initiatives both multilateral, regional and with non-parties to free trade negotiations, both in the formulation that the implementation of these standards.

Discussion

September 11 taught Americans a lesson, and many of them did not understand that the action has provoked opposition, and that there are good reasons that anti-American feelings so ingrained in most countries. During the Bush administration in Europe, with some amazement watched as the U.S. moves ahead with its self-serving agenda, as if nobody else there are no right or opinions vision the same situation in another light. Despite the U.S.'s sizable trade deficit with China, the U.S. government should not renege on its commitment to free trade. Since U.S. government officials have traveled around the world in recent decades preaching the virtues of free trade, implementing restrictive trade measures against China would be blatantly hypocritical in the eyes of the Chinese government and the world. Americans' criticism of China's trade practices is misguided. Those backers, who insist that China is not a threat to U.S. interests, decry the fact that some media outlets continue to propagate the idea that China, as a powerful communist nation, is aiming to gradually overtake the U.S. in terms of global leadership.
