Yes, the organization has a systematic and ongoing training needs assessment process and regularly uses it (Moskowitz, 2008). The human resource development manager began this need identification process by conducting focus group discussions that included the employees and their supervisors. Moreover, this need assessment process in the Mid-Western university is continuous as the employee has not only created the need for these training issues but the ongoing feedback that the HRD Director taken on a periodic basis also tells the HRD Director whether employees need another training session.
