CHAPTER 04: DATA ANALYSIS
The study is important to understand to what extent PR has played an important role in establishing and supporting the LVMH brand in India. This section compiles and discusses the findings and analysis the data that the research had compiled. This chapter aims and giving meaning and adjusting what is meant to be researched by providing information that can help readers come to a better understanding on the topic.
Analysis and Interpretation of data
Once data was gathered the research process turns logically to analysis, which amounts to search for meaning in the data. This interpretation and translation of data into meaning and information involves several queries and many steps. Analysis and interpretation may take from many days to many months. The researchers must determine the perfect analysis whether their work is valid externally or internally. Data analysis techniques vary in their ability to detect differences in the data (Thayie, 2005). According to Kirsch (1992) analysis is a methodology and a data gathering process for those researchers who want to understand in detail the essence of a problem and seek a solution for the same. Text analysis is useful for researchers working in cultural studies, media studies, in mass communication and perhaps in sociology and philosophy. Travers (2001) says that content analysis is the generic name for text analysis that involves comparing, contrasting and categorizing a corpus of data. It is also the process of organizing and integrating narrative qualitative information according to themes and concepts. It is a procedure for analyzing written or verbal communication in a systematic and objective fashion. The researcher has adopted the same method in the study. The researcher has collected data related to Louis Vuitton from several secondary sources and analyzed the same.
