ABSTRACT

The major task of this dissertation was to assess the role of Internet in Supply Chain Management. There were several aspects which were analyzed in detail and all the studies which have been conducted in the past related to the role of internet in Supply Chain activities. The qualitative analysis was carried out by conducting the interviews from the respondents. The questionnaires were also provided to the respondents in order to provide their experiences and views related to the role of internet in Supply Chain Management. It was seen in the end that most of the respondents had a belief that the importance of internet in Supply Chain Management is quite high. They believed that several efforts must be taken to facilitate the role of internet in Supply Chain activities. Therefore, these were the overall findings of the study.
