Introduction
The term assassination is known to be defined as the murder that is done by a specific person by convicting a cruel attack on another person for the political reasons. It is the deliberately act of killing someone who specifically belongs to public figure that is the active participant in the political activities for the political reasons.
An assassination is carried out for a specific purpose. These purposes may belongs to the religious, ideological, political, or military objectives and it may also be taken into action for the financial benefits, for taking the revenge or to attain the distinction and fame. The attainment of fame is involved in the psychological requirement for gaining the recognition in the public. The assassination is also described as the attempt to build the relationship with the public figure by fulfilling the desire to be killed or by committing the suicide.
There are many types of assassinations that take place around the world. Some assassinations are carried out by the individual on the basis of their problems in their personal life. The assassination carried out by individuals or certain organizations have very often political cause behind their assassination act. While other types of assassinations are held on the state levels. The political conflict and assassinations in it is not only common in the United States but it is also common in majority of the countries. It is also found that the democratic oriented state is most significant among the political based assassinations undertakings.
Dimensions of Assassination
There are the political, legal and moral dimensions of assassinations that are widely practiced. The moral dimension of assassination involves ultimate political violence. The democratic countries have the responsibility based on the international model to give values to other's sovereignty and it forbade the countries to indulge in creating violence. This may be considered as the moral objective of assassination because it gives equally moral to each state and country. The legal dimension of assassination is greatly discouraged by any international laws and regulation because the international laws consider it as a violence that is against the legal actions.
