The movie “The Matrix” challenges the human minds to think about the realities of the world and to indentify the purpose of human life and how human can break the chains that stops them from exploring and evaluating the reason for existence. It is a science fiction and fantasy movie that has shown two kinds of worlds the real and projected (Cyberspace) world. The direction, screen shots, visual effects, dialogues, music, cinematography and all other ingredients that make up a quality film was there in this movie “The Matrix”. It was mainly the success of the movie that led to the release of two quality feature film sequels; those were The Matrix Revolutions and The Matrix Reloaded.

Introduction
One of the most watched and praised movie of 1999 was “The Matrix”. The movie was directed and written by two well known personalities Andy Wachowski and Larry. The theme of the movie “The Matrix” was based on science fiction action and it was the first movie of that era in which innovative skills and latest technologies were used for the first time in the history of the American Cinema. Laurance Fishburne, Joe Pantoliano, Hugo Weaving, Carrie-Anne Moss and Keanu Reeves were the key film stars. The movie has depicted a dystopian future that exposes the humans to reality of the world in which they currently exist. The movie has shown the combination cyberspace and the real world in a dramatic and tragic way.
The simulated reality or cyberspace is replaced by the word “Matrix” that is the title of the movie. The Matrix is formed by the sentient machines to subdue and pacify the populations of the humans. The electrical and heat activity are used as the major source of energy that is found fueling the robots or the machines. The humans were not aware of the reality that they are being controlled by the machines and they are used as servants who are used for serving the robots or machines. An individual named “Neo” was the first one to diagnose this that the humans are not living their lives freely and they do not have any freedom anywhere. Neo was a computer programmer who discovered this truth and tired to make the humans free from this web that made them slaves. He was started rebellion against the cruel machines and involved other people who were unchained from that particular dream world that was depicted in the movie into the real world.
