There have been many books written by different authors which defied one of the largest corporations in the world that used to exist and still exist at very moment, however one of the most controversial book that took a stance and pointed out the dirty deeds of one of the most branded, and highly recognized organization in the world “Coca Cola”, is known as the “The Coke Machine”.
“The Coke Machine” is written my Michael Blanding and was published in the year 2010 by New York Avery. This book is praised for being well written as well as being backed up by different evidences which makes the material written in it considered truth at the most hardest form. This books consists of up to 10 chapter, and each of these chapters are well written, however there are number of chapters that many readers like myself founded it hard to grasp on or one can say less interesting at very best, however this is another story and will be dealt later on the discussion.
Here in the following white paper, I will discuss and answer up to ten question related to this book and my point of views on it. Furthermore, a short discussion will also be made by me on the quote used by the author Michael Blanding in this book and how it portrayed the overall message of this book.
Discussion
Michael Blanding the author of the book “The coke Machine” is not an average writer but is considered as a political writer who writes about the truth and reality about the things we see and face in our day to day lives. He has not written many books or articles, yet even writing such a short number of publications, let it be a book or an article, the shinning presence of Michael Blanding is undeniable. He is popular for the articles like “The straight shooter” and "The World Social Forum: Protest or Celebration,” which dealt with the polycentrism and other related issues that people face in the world (M.Blanding).
Why I choose this book as my essay is a question that is hard to answer yet fascinating to explain. I could have choose other book or articles but I went on choosing this book because it is a book that tries and initially succeeds in telling the real truth behind the highly re-known corporation “The Coca Cola” and answers the questions that why did it became so famous and how it went on with its corrupted ways to be the best soda and cold drink company in the world. I had the choice to read and write about some other book yet I choose this book and it was a risk that pays off with wondrous reward, and a thought provoking vision.
